Week Two...

This week's challenge was to create something Valentine's Day-ish or some PJ's... After suffering an epic fail on some flannel pants for E, I dug out some fabric that is sort of Valentine's. (I didn't have anything hearts.) I made her a tank top with a cross back. I am very happy with how it came out. So far it is my favorite thing that I have made for her. It is a little big because I made it to fit this summer but still so cute.... I followed this tutorial, it was super easy. Love it!!!

Little Feet

After one epic fail, I made my sweet pea a pair of slippers. Her socks always fall or get pulled off and then she freezes her feet. Problem solved. They are far from perfect but she loves to chew on them so I figure they'll do.


Now I have to figure out what to make next.... Decisions Decisions

Week One Project

I am so proud of myself. I whipped up this sewing machine cover this morning. As a novice sewer, I am pretty pleased with the result. I decided it looked way to plain so I added the bias tape around the bottom with a decorative stitch. Pat myself on the back. Now off to figure out these baby shoes that I've been eying for a few weeks now.


ps.... I know that it needs ironing please disregard the wrinkles...

New Blog!!!

I am super excited about this BBC sewing challenge kick off!!! I created a brand new blog just to post my sewing projects on! (My family blog readers wouldn't be interested). I think this week I am going to attempt the sewing machine cover. Wish me luck!!!
